I Want To See – Week 2

Press In

Encounter how we can go to Jesus with our struggles and develop an eye-opening faith with four clear steps that students can follow when they pray.

Challenge:

Read Mark 10:42-56

Pray for 5 minutes each day. This week, try being silent. Close your eyes, listen to the sounds around you, and focus on your feelings. What do you feel and hear? Where does your mind wander? What do you think God is trying to show you?

Reflect:

Make a list with 2 columns. Write one column with everything you typically focus on, think about, worry about, and put your daily energy to. Make the other column all about your hopes and dreams, who you want to be, what you want God to do in your life, and things you’ve noticed God doing in you.

1. Compare the two columns. Are there any overlaps or similarities? Any conflicting ideas?

2. Is there anything you feel is missing from your list?

3. Where is God in your list? Is there anything you can invite God into?

4. How can P. Andrew and your small group leader pray for you this week? Email Pastor Andrew (andrew@wpa.church)

will you help us reach our goal?

Christmas is right around the corner!

As a church family, we have identified three important initiatives in our Christmas Giving campaign this year. Our goal is $25,000 in support of the King of Kings’ Israel War Relief Fund, ERDO’s Gaza humanitarian relief, effort and locally, The Pregnancy Centre’s Diaper Drive campaign.

To give, you can do so easily by clicking this Christmas Giving Link or by e-transferring to Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly, using the email: finance@wpa.church (please be sure to indicate ‘Christmas Giving’ in the comments section.

Thank you for your generosity this Christmas season as we seek to collectively make a meaningful Kingdom impact both locally and around the world!
