Children have had to face many challenges over the last 2 years resulting in a negative impact on their mental health. Anxiety is on the rise and it is tough for parents to know what to do when it shows up in the home. Join us on Thursday April 7th at 7:00 PM via Zoom, when we will be joined by Cindy Rose who will give us tools to help deal with kids suffering with anxiety (see below for info on Cindy). Even if you have not identified anxiety in your child, this seminar will be helpful as children face changes as we exit the pandemic. This event is geared toward parents with children in grades 1 to 8.
Cindy offers over 20 years of experience in working with children, adolescents, adults, and parents. She is a Registered Psychotherapist (R.P.), a Certified Trauma Integration Clinician (CTIC), and a member of Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). As a graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University, she has earned an MA in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy. Cindy also serves as the PAOC Western Ontario District’s Children and Family Ministries Director and is married with 2 teenage sons.
