- The group will meet on Monday evenings from 7 PM to 8:30 PM. We will meet May 16th, May 30th, June 6th, June 13th, June 20th and June 27th.
- The group will be offered simultaneously on line (via Zoom) and in person at WPA. Rayma will be the host online and I will be the host in person. We will still interact as one group and the Zoom meeting will be running on a large tv so we can all interact with one another.
- We will be doing the study, “Find Your People- Building Deep Community in a Lonely World” by Jennie Allen. It is on Right Now Media if you want to take an advance look. Right Now Media is a free streaming resource we offer to people and if you are interested check out rightnowmedia.org for information. You will not need to have this to participate (but you are welcome to email Aimee at aimee@wpa.church if you would like a free account)
- Each week we will begin by socializing, watching the study together, discussing the study by looking at God’s Word and then having a time of prayer.
Are you looking to join a group of women who are diving deep into scripture together? If so, we’re your group! We’re looking at a number of women in scripture who God used in mighty ways.
We hope you’ll join us!
We are a group of moms with children under the age of 2 looking to connect with others in our stage of life while we grow in our faith and cover our families in prayer. We’ll meet for 30 minutes each Wednesday to connect and pray.
During this busy stage of life, few things will be as life-giving as connecting with others in the same life stage and joining each other in prayer!
If you have a child or children under the age of 2, we hope you’ll join us!
We’re ready to dig into God’s Word and make some new connections in the church. Are you ready to join us? We can’t wait to meet you!
We love having a small group in our neighbourhood as a means of getting to know those who live near us. We’re big believers in social connection and spiritual growth! We’ve been studying along with the Sunday sermons and having great conversations and learning from it. We’re always up for new group members. We can’t wait for you to join our group!
We meet online and in person to help facilitate varying comfort levels and needs.
A small group for men looking to grow together in God’s Word. We meet over Zoom on Saturday evenings.
Our theme for this fall is BEing. In a world where the emphasis is usually on DO, we are learning that life is not all about DOing but rather BEing. We want to BE in God’s presence and we want to BE present in each other’s lives.
These two elements are inseparable. One cannot exist without the other as we see in 1 John 4:21, which says “Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.”
Here are some of the highlights coming up this term:
- – Large group time for worship, testimony sharing, guest speakers, etc.
- – Bible study that emphasizes uncovering truths from the text itself
- – In-person hangouts outside of the weekly small group night
This is a good group for you if you want:
- – To actively participate in a diverse and welcoming group of young adults
- – To grow in your understanding of God’s Word and the expression of your relationship with God in your everyday life.
- – Genuine connection in a community that extends beyond weekly single night events
We are studying Max Lucado’s book, “Romans In the Grip of Grace.”
This group is meeting online through Zoom. Please contact the group leaders to join.
Como todo buen comienzo debemos empezar desde el principio. Así que veremos el libro de Génesis: Dios como el creador y sustentador de todas las cosas, los personajes principales y sobre todo las enseñanzas que nos guían para vivir una vida plena en el Espíritu. Viernes 7:00 pm
(Like any good start, we must start from the beginning. So we will look at the book of Genesis: God as the creator and sustainer of all things, the main people and above all the teachings that guide us to live a full life in the Spirit.)
We want to go deeper. We want to learn how to pray effectively using the word of God, so we practice by praying together. We want to raise children who know how to pray and have a passion for communicating with God. We model this by praying. We are a community of support to one another.
Since March, we have joined with others in our community to pray every day from 7-7:45 PM via Zoom call. However, Friday was our initial prayer meeting day, if you can’t commit to every day, you can join us on Fridays so that when we resume meetings again, you can still join us. If you want to get on the journey of becoming a better prayer warrior, we believe this group would be of benefit to you.
