Message: “Gentleness” from Pastor Chris Padiath

Pastor Chris Padiath - May 31, 2026

Gentleness

In the final message of our Real Fruit series, Pastor Chris teaches from Titus 3:1-8 and explores gentleness as part of the fruit of the Spirit. Gentleness is not weakness or passivity. It is Spirit-formed strength expressed through meekness, humility, and Christlike self-control. This message calls us to examine how we respond in conflict, correction, and difficult conversations. As followers of Jesus, we are invited to learn from His gentle and humble heart so that our lives reflect Him both inside the church and in the world.

From Series: "Real Fruit"

Most of us are familiar with love, joy, and peace—and many of us are actively working on self-control—but the Spirit desires to form all of His fruit within us. This series is not about behavior modification or trying harder in our own strength, but about learning to live life in the Spirit rather than the impulses of the flesh. As we abide in Christ, the Spirit produces fruit that reflects Jesus to a watching world. My prayer is that you will be challenged, shaped and transformed as we pursue a life that bears lasting, Spirit-formed fruit.
