Message: “Lament Psalms” from Pastor Kim Davis

Pastor Kim Davis - July 26, 2026

Lament Psalms

How do we speak to God when we are grieving, angry or overwhelmed by pain? In Week 4 of our Psalms series, Pastor Kim teaches from Psalm 13 and explores the spiritual practice of lament. Speaking from within her own season of grief, she shows us how biblical lament allows us to honestly name our pain while inviting God into it. This message also reminds us that suffering should not be carried alone. As the body of Christ, we are called to weep with those who weep, carry one another’s burdens and help each other move from lament toward renewed trust and praise.
