Message: “Patience” from Pastor Chris Padiath

Pastor Chris Padiath - May 3, 2026

Patience

In Week 1 of our Real Fruit series, Pastor Chris Padiath teaches from Galatians 5:16–26 and explores the true meaning of patience. Rather than being passive or reactive, biblical patience is formed by the Spirit through steadfast love and slowness in the face of anger. Through the lens of the Greek word “makrothumia,” this message shows how God models patience toward us and calls us to reflect that same character in our daily lives. As we learn to walk by the Spirit, patience becomes a visible fruit that shapes how we love, respond, and endure.

From Series: "Real Fruit"

Most of us are familiar with love, joy, and peace—and many of us are actively working on self-control—but the Spirit desires to form all of His fruit within us. This series is not about behavior modification or trying harder in our own strength, but about learning to live life in the Spirit rather than the impulses of the flesh. As we abide in Christ, the Spirit produces fruit that reflects Jesus to a watching world. My prayer is that you will be challenged, shaped and transformed as we pursue a life that bears lasting, Spirit-formed fruit.
