Every week I have to send an email to colleagues to let them know a process has completed. I include a short encouraging message every time. I’ve had several comment that they miss getting those cherry emails when they move to another dept or go on May leave. At Christmas and Easter, I take the liberty of saying something more overtly faith-focussed. I have been doing this since 2008, but since the 1000 points initiative started in May, it would now be about 12.
