On Tuesday Aug 28, I went to campus for a meeting and saw a colleague who looked sad, unlike herself. I asked if she was okay and she said she was but I was not convinced. I went to my meeting, and another task after that. Then I went looking for her. I almost didn’t because I felt I needed to get back home to my children. I found her and she still looked very sad but said she was all right. I believe the Holy Spirit convinced me to persist so I just sat and chatted lightly with her and in time, she felt able to share how worried she was because her sister in India was having serious health challenges. She was actually in tears. She is not a Christian but I sat with her (for three hours as it turned out!), encouraging her to not be afraid because God loves her sister and her and would heal her, if we asked in faith. I asked her if I could pray with her and she agreed. I held her hands and prayed. After I could see her countenance had brightened. I pray that my time with her is a seed the LORD will use to bring her and her family to Himself.
