Start or end your day by listening to the Prison Epistle: Philippians, Colossians, Ephesians, Philemon read by Pastor Chris. In addition, we have recommended a song for your listening pleasure to help facilitate a time of Worship & The Word.
Connecting with God’s Word is an essential part of every Christian’s faith. The Bible is our compass, teaching us our history, telling us God’s ways about how we should live our lives. As a church, WPA has placed a renewed emphasis on bible engagement and we are continuing this initiative by working through the Prison Letters over the next eight weeks.
We have put together four simple ways that you can engage with us and along with your church family.
This type of engagement is only for the brave and strong of hand. We’re challenging those enjoy writing to scribe the Prison Letters: Philippians, Colossians, Ephesians, Philemon by hand. We have blank scribe books available FREE for you to use or if you prefer, you can find your own. We’ve gone ahead of broken down the scriptures into segments which you can use as you follow along with us.

Music is a large source of inspiration and some people are auditory learners. Start or end your day by listening to the Prison Letters: Philippians, Colossians, Ephesians, Philemon narrated by Pastor Chris. In addition, we have recommended a song for your listening pleasure to help facilitate a time of Worship & The Word. Dedicate a portion of your day to listening intently for what God might say to you through scripture and song.
You can access all links for the audio Bible and worship songs below on this page or by clicking here.
If the first two options did not fit your learning style, then we invite you to join the conversation on Facebook. Each day of the week, we post a portion of scripture from the Prison Letters and reflect on it together as an online community. Simply read the scripture and let us know what stood out to you and why. Like or comment on other people’s posts and don’t be shy; we can all benefit from each other’s insights.

One thing our church is deeply passionate about is helping families reclaim their home as the spiritual center. If you are unaware, for the past few years our church has taken 3 moments throughout the year to journey through a book of the bible. Along with this initiative we have provided a supplementary guide for families so that as a family you might strengthen your knowledge and faith together. These have traditionally been booklets, BUT this year we’ve gone digital!
